We go to the following specials each week: P.E., Music, Library, Spanish, Art, Science Lab, Computer, Counseling, Leadership, Band, and T.I.S. Singers.
In P.E., the teachers name is Mrs. Davison. We always have a health week the first week of the new quarter. We usually talk about proper foods for our diet and health. We use a food chart to tell us what kind of food goes in what category. We have a day of testing which is arms, running,stretch, and curl ups. We do these tests so she can see how we have improved. We have one or two weeks to do a subject. With soccer, baseball, kickball, volleyball, football, and basketball. We have a question of the week which is a question that you find on the homework page. It is optional if we want to get extra credit.
In Music, the music teacher's name is Mr. Dary. The three main rules Mr.Dary has is: don't touch it if it's not yours, no gum or candy in his classroom, and if he is talking you don't talk. He also doesn't like it if you lie down. We usually rehearse the new play that we will do or for a special occasion. The fourth and fifth graders get to do a play. This year it was Bugsy Malone. We rarely get out the blue books. The only reason we get them out is if he wants us to look at the bar graph or notes. We only watch a movie is if we got done with a play or he is sick. We also have a special type of singing group called T.I.S. singers that comes in when he has time (usually recess). We go to special places and perform. We use a charter bus for that.
In Library, the teachers name is Mr. Berdtte. You have to use shelf markers when you're looking for books. We talk a lot about the Dewey Decimal System for the beginning of class, and for the last fifteen minutes, we check out books and can take A.R. tests, and only two people can be in the back room at a time. At the end of the year we have a final exam over the Dewey Decimal System.
In Spanish, we have so many projects. Sometimes we go over vocabulary and other times we watch movies and listen for words we know. We make a house and label the parts. For a final project we write a book and translate it to Spanish. Then, we read it to the little kids. Another project is we do interviews on a camera and then show it to the class.
In Art, we make things for special occasions. The teacher's name is Mrs. Jeffries. We also learn about some artists who make special pieces of art and we try to do the same type of things. We do projects like what the other artists do such as curvulennier lines.
In Science Lab, we study germs, electricity, our body,and microscopes. We journal about each of these subjects. You come in to the classroom with 10 points and if you aren't following directions or goofing off you lose points.
In Computer class, you go once a week for an hour. We are also going to have a new teacher next year. You have to bring a permission slip so we can go on the computer.
In Counseling, the counseling teacher's name is Mrs. Amos. We talk about doing things to help others and our self. We talk about how things that aren't good for you or anyone else. We meet once a month and go for 30 minutes.
In Leadership, the teacher is also Mrs. Amos. We talk about being good leaders and the 12 traits of being a leader. We make cookies for the Ronald McDonald House for the families that are there. We also pick up trash around the campus. We have competitions that we have to work together and see who can collect the most trash.

We have concerts and some of the instruments include: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone. Oboe, and Drums\Bells. If you don't want to participate in band, you can go to Study Hall. Study Hall is a place where you can do work that isn't finished or needs to be started.
